$25,000 A YEAR For LIFE Prize To Pay Off Winner’s Mortgage

Gyalthar of Malden Massachusetts is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state “Lucky for Life” game after correctly matching the first five numbers selected in the drawing that took place Thursday, March 2, 2017.

Gyalthar, who claimed his prize at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Braintree headquarters on Wednesday, March 22, chose to collect his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $390,000 (before tax withholdings). He plans on using his winnings to pay off the mortgage on his home.

His winning Quic Pic ticket was purchased at People’s Food Mart, 492 Fulton St. in Medford.

Massachusetts Woman Hits $25,000 A Year For Life Prize With ‘Season Ticket’

Mary Brown of Scituate, Massachusetts, is the winner of a $25,000 a year for life prize in the multi-state “Lucky for Life®” game after the first five numbers on her Season Ticket correctly matched those selected in the drawing that took place Thursday, October 20.

Brown, who claimed her prize at the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Braintree headquarters on Thursday, October 27, chose to collect her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $390,000 (less tax withholdings). She is the third such prize winner in Massachusetts this year. In September, a Dracut resident won the game’s $1,000 a day for life grand prize.

Season Tickets offer players the opportunity to play the same numbers for every drawing within a 3-month, 6-month or 1-year period. Season Tickets are available for “Lucky for Life,” “Megabucks Doubler,” “Mega Millions” and “Powerball.” An annual Season Ticket holiday discount period offering significant savings begins November 20.

“Lucky for Life” drawings take place every Monday and Thursday evening.
