Game Loyalty Leads To $25,000 A Year Lucky For Life® Prize

Franklin Burdette of Minneapolis won a Lucky for Life® $25,000 a year for life prize on June 23 and after consulting with his tax person and a lawyer, he decided to take the cash option of $390,000.

Burdette said that Lucky for Life is the only lottery game he’s ever played because he always believed that he had a good chance to win.

Pump and Munch, located at 4401 Nicollet Ave. N. in Minneapolis, sold the winning ticket. The morning following the drawing, Burdette went back to the store. He first scanned the ticket using a ticket scanner available for player use. Burdette got a message instructing him to contact the Lottery so he took the ticket to the sales associate. When the sales associate scanned the ticket, he said, “You’re the guy who won!” Burdette explained.
